This is the privacy notice for the appeals section of the Slough Consortium of Grammar Schools website.

The Slough Consortium of Grammar Schools is strongly committed to protecting personal data. The personal data being used to identify applicants to the appeal process is obtained from the registration process for the 11+ entrance examination. Applicants agree to the following on registration:

'I grant permission for the personal data we have supplied to be shared with approved Data Processors, Test Providers and other Admissions Authorities performing similar testing for any reason deemed necessary in order to ensure the integrity of the process and the tests. I agree that my child's results can be used for research purposes by Data Processors, Test Providers and other Admissions Authorities if required. I also agree to a third party company who host the online application forms to hold the personal data I have supplied. At all times Data Processors, Test Providers, other Admissions Authorities and third party companies agree to treat all personal data strictly in accordance with GDPR regulations currently in force.'

Data we process

In the process of registration, to establish identity, the following information is included:
First name, last name and date of birth of child
Name of parent/carer
Contact information includes details of home address, email address and telephone numbers.
Further information about present primary school, special consideration and pupil premium is gathered.
The appeal process includes the personal appeal and titles of supporting documents provide by parent/carer.

Use of information

The data is only shared with the appeals committees of the four schools in the Consortium.
Data on the website is removed after the appeals process, but by law it is securely retained as hard copies for two years.
